Returning to the only Source that can revive a church.
Revitalization is not a strategy problem, it is a Spirit problem. Before we plan, we repent. Before we build, we beg God. The Power phase anchors the entire process in dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Four Movements
From self-reliance to Spirit-dependence
Preliminary was the pastor’s work alone. Power is where the congregation joins in, and it begins by hearing from them. Take these in order.
What do your people see? — Church Survey.
Your people’s honest read of the church, laid beside your own. Ask your encourager for your church’s link; the report comes back through them. For paper copies, write your church code in the box before copying.
How is your own walk? — Personal Devotion Guide.
The shepherd’s walk with Christ sets the ceiling for the church’s health. A personal life of prayer, Scripture, and Spirit-filled leadership the congregation can actually follow.
Where have we drifted? — Search Me: Inventory.
Every church drift begins with a quiet shift away from dependence on God. Name the idols, programs, personalities, past glory, and turn back. Repentance is the first note, not a low one.
Will God do it again? — Ask Him Again: Revival Study.
Pray with expectancy for what only God can do. Prefer a published study? Experiencing God or Return to Me both serve well.
The Non-Negotiable
You can borrow a strategy. You cannot borrow the Spirit. Every healthy church we know of has, at some point, hit its knees together.
“The work of revitalization is His. Our job is to get out of the way and ask Him for it.”
This phase usually unfolds over 2 to 3 months of concentrated prayer initiatives, teaching, and personal coaching.
