The EMPOWER Process

Five steps. One healthy church.

Each step builds on the one before it. Skip a step and the church builds on sand. Walk all five and Christ does what only He can do, in His timing.

Luke 14:28

Before a single change is proposed, EMPOWER spends time listening, to the pastor, to the church, and to the community God has placed her in.

Outcome: A shared, honest baseline. · Approx: 4 to 6 weeks

Zechariah 4:6

Revitalization is not a strategy problem, it is a Spirit problem. Before we plan, we repent. Before we build, we beg God.

Outcome: A church on its knees, and a pastor leading from rest. · Approx: 2 to 3 months

1 Peter 5:2

You cannot lead a church further than you have personally walked with Christ. This phase pours into the pastor: soul, family, leadership, and pulpit.

Outcome: A healthier shepherd, clear in calling, supported in the work. · Approx: Continues throughout the journey

Matthew 28:19-20

Healthy churches know who they are and what God has put them here to do. Purpose is not invented, it is rediscovered.

Outcome: A renewed, biblical, locally-grounded sense of mission. · Approx: 2 to 3 months

Philippians 1:6

Health is not an event; it’s a pace. The Process phase turns everything learned into a sustainable rhythm of life across the six biblical functions.

Outcome: A biblically healthy church, walked out over time. · Approx: The long obedience; ongoing
