Step 05 of 05 · The Process Phase
05
Process
Walking out a healthy church, one obedient step at a time.
Health is not an event; it’s a pace. The Process phase turns everything learned in Steps 1 to 4 into a sustainable rhythm of life across the six biblical functions of a healthy church.
Philippians 1:6 — “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…”
01 PRELIMINARY → 02 POWER → 03 PASTOR → 04 PURPOSE → 05 PROCESS
Six Biblical Functions
Moving forward, together
01 Prayer
Restoring prayer as the engine of the church. Personal, corporate, and leadership prayer rebuilt as ordinary practice.
02 Evangelism
Equipping ordinary believers to share the gospel naturally, into homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods.
03 Discipleship
Forming followers, not just attenders. A clear, simple pathway from first faith to reproducing Christ-follower.
04 Fellowship
Recovering biblical community, the kind that shares burdens, confesses sin, eats together, and stays.
05 Ministry
Every member serving from giftedness, inside the church to build it up, and outside it to bless the community.
06 Worship
Gathered worship that exalts Christ, and a Monday-through-Saturday life of worship that backs it up.
Playing the Long Game
This is the long obedience. Steps 1 to 4 set the foundation; Step 5 is where the building actually rises. We walk it with you.
“Revitalization is the Spirit-led process by which a church becomes healthier over time.”
What it looks like: A customized, written revitalization plan with named next steps, owners, and measurable signs of health, revisited together on a regular cadence. The promise: You do not have to figure this out alone. A revitalization encourager stays in the boat with you.
Reflect
What would it look like to walk this out together, with someone in the boat with you?
The Goal
A biblically healthy church — balanced, prayerful, gospel-centered, and engaged with her community for the glory of Christ.
